Rep. Christopher Coutu spoke to a group of Eastern Connecticut State University students tonight about the state budget. The students, about 25 of them, study accounting and finance at the Willimantic-based school. NORWICH — Rep. Christopher Coutu today honored the local Salvation Army with a special citation today, recognizing 125 years of service to city residents as well as those of surrounding communities. Volunteers and staff at Salvation Army work hard to provide food, clothing, shelter and emotional support in times of need.
