Coutu Encourages Teens During Capitol Visit

Rep. Christopher Coutu today spent a few minutes with children from Boys and Girls Clubs. The students, from throughout the state, won leadership competitions and were at the Capitol for a special ceremony. Though Connecticut is experiencing tough times, there’s opportunity for young people who look to move the state forward.

Norwich, Two Other Cities Get Federal Foreclosure Funds

Governor M. Jodi Rell today announced that Norwich and two other communities will split the remaining $2.6 million from the state’s allotment of federal Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) funds. Connecticut was awarded more than $25 million in funding last December.
